Support our seminarians

Help form the priests who will serve our families.

Thirty-eight men from the Diocese of San Bernardino are in formation right now. Each one said yes to a call. Your gift helps them keep walking toward the altar.

Gifts are received through the Diocese of San Bernardino’s secure online giving page, for the Office of Vocations.

Seminarians gathered outdoors at a diocesan event
A note from Fr. Hau

Every priest was once a seminarian someone believed in.

I think of the young men who come to our Discernment Thursdays for the first time. They sit at the back during Adoration, not quite sure why they came. Some of them are now in formation. A few of them, God willing, will one day stand at the altar of a parish in the Inland Empire and say the words that make Christ present.

None of them get there alone. Between that first evening and ordination are years of prayer, study, community life and pastoral work. The Church calls it formation: human, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral. It is patient, demanding and beautiful work, and it is not free.

When you give, you are not paying a bill. You are standing behind a man you may never meet, so that one day he can stand beside your family at a baptism, a wedding, a hospital bed or a funeral.

Thank you for praying for our seminarians. If you are able, I invite you to help support them too.
